Make a magic ring to begin your heart.
Chain 3, then crochet 12 double crochets (dc) into the ring. Slip stitch (sl st) to join.
Single crochet (sc) and double crochet (dc) in the next stitch. Then, make 3 treble crochets (tr) in the next stitch for the heart's peak. Repeat for the second peak.
Continue with 3 dc in the next stitch, followed by another 3 dc in the next stitch. Then, make 2 dc and 1 tr in the next stitch. Ch 1.
Sl st to secure the heart point
Start mirroring the pattern in reverse to finish the round: 1tr nd 2 dc in the next stitch, (3 dc in the next stitch)*2, (3 tr in the next stitch)*2, dc and sc in the next stitch. Cut the yarn and wave in the ends.
Crcohet the second heart in the same way but do not cut the yarn.
Place the two hearts back-to-back. Start joining with sc through corresponding stitches around the edge.
Leave a small opening for stuffing.
Lightly stuff the heart through the opening to give it shape.
Continue with sc stitches to close the opening. Finish off and weave in ends.
Thread a needle with yarn, pull it through the top center of the heart, and add a bead.
Center the bead.
Cut several yarn strands for the tassel.
Fold in half and attach to the bottom of the heart through the center.
Tie a knot.
To form the tassel head wrap yarn around the top of the tassel strands to form the head. Secure with a knot.
Trim the tassel ends evenly.
Cut a piece of yarn for hanging. Fold in half, pull the loop through the top of the heart, make a knot and hide it inside the heart.
Tie a knot close to the top of the heart.
And there you have it - your very own crocheted Boho style heart, ready to adorn any space or be given as a thoughtful, handmade gift. This project, simple yet filled with charm, embodies the joy of crafting something unique from the heart.
